DUE TO PROPOSED CHANGES IN HOW DVSA RELEASE AND MANAGE PRACTICAL TESTS, OPERATING STRUCTURE IS BEING DEVELOPED AND WILL BE RELEASED SHORTLY.

Thorn Driving School, established in March 2019, to provide Manual Driving tuition to residents of North Tyneside, following a training period with another National School continues to thrive and develop.

Owned and operated on a sole trader basis by Ivan Thorn ADI, who qualified as a fully Approved Driving Instructor (UK DVSA) in August 2019, with Standards Check pass in 2021 and renewal in August 2023.

Training is provided for Manual Transmission Vehicles covering new licences, confidence & familiarisation lessons and returning/refreshing sessions.

Significant investment has been made in continued professional development (CPD) in the areas of 1st Aid, Driving Test Nerves Specialism, Standards Check readiness and Autism Awareness to name but a few.
