The minis 1st test was a pass for Jake Williams
After 5 1/2 years the Fiesta has been decommissioned and replaced with the wonderful Mini.
  • Into the 3rd Century!
In a little bit of a self indulgent manner, todays’ pass marked 201 passes since March 2019, a record I’m really proud of. Each student is different and special with a bespoke journey towards driving independence; more commonly known as Client Centred Learning, an umbrella term that really doesn’t do any justice to everything that supports it. It’s not a case of ‘the customer is always right’ but more what do they really need and what do they need that they don’t even know they need; that’s the ethos I guide all my students by as I encourage them to… Read more: Into the 3rd Century!
  • Get in there Jimmy!
Nice work Jimmy McLaren on your #1stTime #Pass this morning in Blyth. Great job well done after overcoming some serious pre-test jitters but you know now to believe in yourself and to really look to see. All the best with the Police, you’ll continue to be a credit. Now make sure to celebrate properly.
  • Wow, the Perfect Score
Huge congratulations to Izzy Dutton, driving for just a few short weeks now, but smashing her Theory Test 1st time yesterday with the perfect score! Nailing the driving too, just a few hours in and great on hills and roundabouts already.
  • Brilliant Zack!
Brilliant start to the day for Zak Johnston with his #1stTime #Pass up at a damp Blyth. A solid drive to bring the cup home after a few pre-match nerves but as in rugby, once the whistle sounds, it’s game time and he certainly delivered. I know you’ll be safe both now and in the future, that’s why we went to test today; it’s not just about the pass; but rather it’s about your ability and humility overall. There’s zero doubt in my mind that you’ll go on in the same form and I wish you every success in your… Read more: Brilliant Zack!
  • No issues for Eleanor
First time #pass of 2024 for Eleanor Robson up in Blyth, conquering some pre test nerves.
  • Super Sophie!
Super Sophie Stanyer smashed her 1st Time #Pass up in Blyth on the early start this morning! Bit of an emotional one this, having known Sophie since she was helping show my daughter the ropes at nursery as kids up in Seaton Sluice and the family are long time good friends of ours. Sophie, you listened and applied and did absolutely brilliantly and thoroughly deserve this #pass. Not just for the standard of your driving but also for your positive reaction to our decision to just push it back a few weeks to make sure you were completely ready for… Read more: Super Sophie!
  • Miles of Smiles for Maddy
Superb start to the week for Maddy Clark with a lovely smooth #Pass up in soggy Blyth. So pleased she conquered those pre-test nerves and hi-vis syndrome to bring it home and can now enjoy that lovely car outside your house without anyone accompanying; although I understand your friends already have you pegged down for Gym runs. Stay safe and continue to believe in yourself!
  • Merry Christmas All
As we begin to wind down for the Christmas break, I’d like to thank all my clients for their custom this year and wish each of you, past, current and future and very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Just today to go, return hire car tomorrow then go get another one 2nd Jan and I’ll see you all from 3rd Jan (my car should be back around 12th Jan.
  • Nice work Lindsey
Lindsey Jessop passed her test a while ago, actually many years ago but it would be incorrect for me to say when. She’s not driven since, until a few weeks ago when she asked for some refresher lessons fitting nicely with a Monday morning gap in the diary. A few weeks in, she recognises just how far she’s come and has accepted that the next step is for her to get back out there. We’ve a provisional booking for mid January, but I reckon that sadly today will have been her last refresher lesson. Well done Lindsey, it’s been great… Read more: Nice work Lindsey
  • Superb #Pass for Jake
Bit of a reaffirmation of a #Pass this morning up at Gosforth Test Centre. I had to accompany Jake Parry to the TC in his car, what with mine being off the road and you could clearly see him take onboard the responsibility of driving without dual controls. Smashed out his last lesson yesterday in, frankly awful weather and drive faultlessly up to the test centre. Thanks for everything Jake, now enjoy your car and wishing you every success in your studies and rugby.
  • Nice work Livvy!
Fantastic result for Olivia Gardner up at chilly Gosforth this morning in a really busy rush hour. Held it all together to beat those test day nerves and grab that pre-Christmas pass. Enjoy the roads and all the very best with your A levels.
  • Big thumbs up for Theo!
Early start for Theo Papacharalambous up in Blyth for the 08:20, but he more than conquered the nerves to pull out a superb #Pass drawing praise from his senior examiner. Those hard truths on lessons paid off today and I know you’ll go from strength to strength now; today you can rightly walk 6” higher! Enjoy the car shopping and your celebrations tonight, you earned them both and see you out on the roads.
  • Excellent 1st time Pass for Matthew
A rare sunny morning up in Blyth for Matthew Wilson’s 1st Test attempt and he absolutely smashed it out the park, drawing praise from his Test Centre Manager Examiner. Very well done Matthew, you were as sure a bet as there can ever be for this #Pass, clear as day since you nailed your first ever parallel park on your first lesson.
  • 1st time Pass for Hannah S
Fantastic driving by Hannah this morning in (not so) Sunny Blyth to nail her test 1st time, to match her Brothers previous 1st time pass.
  • All smiles for Nathan today
There may be a storm brewing, but it didn’t bother Nathan P, smashing out his pass up at Blyth this afternoon.

I am delighted to confirm that headline fees on lesson tariffs will remain consistent from 2024 into 2025 at £40/hour.

There are small tweaks to block payments which have been held as minor as possible.
